Thru the Bible – Day 24

If you use Facebook, we are posting these each day on our page there, and we will also post these here each day. We welcome your thoughts here or on Facebook.

Day 24 – Thru the Bible

We continue our journey through Exodus and Psalms.

Exodus 22 – We see the continuing theme of the law – threat people well.

How do you see this theme throughout this chapter?

Exodus 23 – God promises to lead His people into the promised land. God’s own name and authority is “in” the angel (Exodus 23:21); he is the visible representative of God himself.

How does God promise to lead those who believe in Jesus today?

Exodus 24 – Moses and Aaron are and drank in the presence of God as part of the covenant God made with them (Exodus 24:11).

How do we see this same relationship in the New Testament? Hint: Matthew 26:26–29; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26.

Psalm 24 – This Psalm may be remembering how David brought the ark of the Lord into Jerusalem (2 Samuel 6).

How does this point us to our need for Jesus?

How do we get “clean hands” and a “pure heart”?

What other thoughts or questions does today’s reading bring up?
